Lack of feminine care is NOT a female problem it is a “Global Problem” of which we are a part of the solution. Giving Hope & Help (GH&H) Feminine Hygiene Product Drives, (annual and year-round) supports the "No Menstruator Without” Movement with Feminine Hygiene PERIOD Product Drives to provide:
- sanitary napkins and tampons (the two least donated items to shelters and places of refuge)
- children and women’s packaged underwear to domestic violence survivors and the shelters in which they live/places of refuge
- in addition to supporting natural disaster survivors and those in need locally and across the globe
We believe #NoMenstruatorWithout period products must become a reality PERIOD. Lack of feminine care and period poverty is the culprit to 5-7 days of school missed a month and ultimately causes many girls to quit school altogether.
Often times when women find safety from abuse they arrive with just the clothes on their backs and children at their side. When they reach safety they should have feminine care they need.
Giving Hope & Help is ensuring dignity and meeting period product needs locally and across the globe.
Many menstruators miss work due to lack of feminine care as well and have to choose between purchasing period products or feeding their children/families.
Sanitary napkins/feminine care provided for girls in school and women/menstruators in general promotes: CEED, (Confidence, Education, Empowerment and Dignity)
