DETAILS
The 2021 IMD Education Symposium consists of an introduction to self-determination and the I'm Determined project, plus three weeks of learning opportunities. Each week will focus on one topic that will be experienced in two ways:

Self-paced modules
- hosted on Canvas Free for Teachers. The modules will open up at the beginning of the week and you can complete the activities when it best suits you! You decide how many activities you want to complete.

Live Sessions
- Throughout each week there will be opportunities to meet, discuss, ask questions, and meet educators and youth who have experience in that week's topic.
SCHEDULE (Each topic spans 4 days, Monday-Thursday. No live sessions on Fridays)
February 8-11, 2021:
Self-paced learning focusing on Student Involvement in the IEP Process
February 15-18, 2021:
Self-paced learning focusing on Self-Determination in the Classroom
February 22-25, 2021:
Self-paced learning focusing on Post-Secondary Transition Topics

You must be an educator working in Virginia to register for this event.
All self-paced learning will happen on the Canvas Free for Teachers platform. You will receive an invitation to the platform closer to the event date.
