Ride Endorsement Application

Waived for the 2025 season

Application fee is $250 per ride day -- 1st day

$50 for each additional consecutive day

Fee is waved if ride is club financed

Endorsement application and payment must be submitted per schedule outlined in the Ride Endorsement Instructions (45 or 90 days in advance of ride, depending upon specific endorsement request).

Mileage verification (GPS tracks) and copies of SafeSport training certificates must be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the requested ride date.

This includes events to be held the day preceding, the day of, or the day following your anticipated EDRA endorsed event. It may include events such as a non-endorsed trail or introductory ride of less than 25 miles, another organization's event such as a USEF distance competition, a breed organization's distance championship, ride-and-tie race, competitive trail competition, equestrian trail challenge, competitive mounted orienteering or other equestrian activity.

A description, including date(s) to be held, information on the course to be used, and any other organizations affiliated with the conjoined event is required.

The mission of the Equine Distance Riding Association (EDRA), is to promote at all levels and to all members, safe, competitive equine distance riding events and experiences. EDRA endorement does not guarantee or monitor for the public the quaility or effectiveness of ride management, trails, weather, or other variable conditions.

The above ride requests endorsement by the Equine Distance Riding Association. In signing, the Ride Manager agrees to abide by all EDRA rules and cooperate with an EDRA-appointed Steward, should any conflicts or disagreements arise. (See EDRA Rule 22.)
