ECOSS, in collaboration with the Manufacturing Industrial Council (MIC) and PureBlue (PB), is leading a regional effort to assess the needs of businesses with Industrial Stormwater Permits in the Seattle/King County area.
We are conducting a survey to understand business needs, questions and concerns, and to present resources to help industry thrive in these challenging times. The project includes providing participants with follow-up educational and technical information, and identifying innovative stormwater technologies, as needed. By participating in our survey, your responses may lead to permit process improvements, supporting local businesses across our region.
Overall results and trends identified will help us develop a resource playbook for industry that includes best management practices (BMPs), information, educational opportunities and other resources.
The long-term goals of our project include:
- Understanding concerns and issues facing current WA State Industrial Stormwater General Permit (ISGP) holders
- Providing permit holders with resources, technical information and educational support
- Summarizing and sharing what we hear from industry about revisions to the permit with regulators and other stakeholders.
Your answers will be kept confidential and used anonymously for this regional assessment. Your responses will also help our team provide resources, technical information and educational support tailored to your needs.
