    Only approved applications will receive a response from the volunteer staff at Vegas Pet Rescue Project. We are not able to respond to every submitted interest form and let you know the status of your application due to the overwhelming response that some pets receive. Vegas Pet Rescue Project reserves the right not to reach out to anyone who does not meet our adoption requirements. Please allow our volunteer staff a minimum of 1 week to review your application. Home  checks are required if your application is approved and we will take photos of the residence. Each chosen adopter will be required to supply the following:

    • Copy of Government Issued ID
    • Vet records for all pets in the home
    • Adoption Contract/Waiver
    • Rental Agreement with permission to contact landlord
    • Non-Refundable Adoption Donation paid in full at the start of trial or foster-to-adopt

  • Would you consider a double adoption?*

  • Kittens adopted in pairs tend to have less behavioral issues, and keep each other company while you are at work. While we do understand not everyone is looking to adopt more than one cat, we do give preference to double adoptions with most cats/kittens.

  • Desired temperament of adopted cat(s)?*

  • Will the cat(s) have access to the outdoors?*
  • Are they all spayed/neutered?*
  • Are your current pets up to date on vaccines*
  • Do you plan to declaw?*
  • Have you ever declawed a cat?*
  • Do you have a regular veterinarian?*
  • Do you give us permissions to contact your veterinarian for a reference?*
  • Will you be committed to litter box and appropriate scratching training if needed?*
  • Will you be able to live with hair on your furniture, stains on your rugs, a warm body on your bed and an animal that might be destructive at times?*
  • Remember, pets are an investment of your time and money.  Can you afford to provide medical care, grooming, proper diet, proper shelter and exercise for your new pet?*
  • If your pet were injured or ill, are you committed to take him/her to the vet?*
  • Are you able to make a long-term commitment to care for this cat for its entire life span, which could be as much as 10-20 years?*
  • If you are unable to keep the adopted VPRP pet, do you fully understand that the pet must be relinquished back to rescue?*
  • Do you agree to allow VPRP representatives into your home for a thorough home check, contact your landlord and contact your veterinarian to verify information provide?*
  • All of our animals come fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. The adoption donations are as followed: Cat/kitten $150. Do you agree to pay this charitable donation in full at the time of adoption?*
