  • Beautiful

     I see your face
    In every sunrise
    The colours of the morning
    Are inside your eyes
     The world awakens
In the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
    You're beautiful

     I see your power
    In the moonlit night
    Where planets are in motion
    And galaxies are bright

     We are amazed
In the light of the stars
It's all proclaiming who you are
    You're beautiful

     I see you there
    Hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died
And then you rose again for me

Now you are sitting on your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
    You're beautiful
    You're beautiful

When we arrive at eternity's shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We'll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we'll sing
    You're beautiful

  • Romans 12:1-2 (ESV)

1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

  • A PLEASING OFFERING

    Romans 12:1-2

  • In this polarized society, what will you allow to

    • Stir the affection of your heart?
    • Direct the work of your hands?
    • Guide the decision in your head?

The more confusing our world becomes, the more we must determine to follow Jesus!

    John 21:15-22

15 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” 16 He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” 17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.

18 Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.” 19 (This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, “Follow me.”

20 Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them, the one who also had leaned back against him during the supper and had said, “Lord, who is it that is going to betray you?” 21 When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?” 22 Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!”

The more confusing our world becomes, the more we must determine to follow Jesus

    • What stirred the affection of Peter’s heart?
    • What directed the work of Peter’s hands?
    • What guided the decision in Peter’s head?

“... what is that to you? You follow me!”

    Joel 2:12–16

12 “Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; 13 and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster. 14 Who knows whether he will not turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind him, a grain offering and a drink offering for the LORD your God? 15 Blow the trumpet in Zion; consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly; 16 gather the people. Consecrate the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children, even nursing infants. Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her chamber.

  • As The Deer

As the deer panteth for the water
So my soul longeth after Thee
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship Thee

You alone are my strength my shield
To you alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship Thee

    You're my friend
    And You are my brother
even though You are a King
I love you more than any other
    So much more than anything

I want You more than gold or silver,
    Only You can satisfy.
You alone are the real joy Giver,
And the apple of my eye.

You alone are my heart's desire
And I Iong to worship Thee (2x)
