Dear Dog Owner;
Thank you for your interest in the daycare program at Vet Stop Animal Hospital. Here at Vet Stop your dog will constantly interact with both other dogs and people. We are a one group facility, which means we do not have seperate groups for differing sizes or energy levels. Our daycare is proud to offer both indoor and outdoor play areas. These areas are an indoor, climate-controlled environment as well as spacious outdoor yard both providing exercise and entertainment while building social skills. We have strict standards in regards to appropriate play to ensure the happiness and safety of each and every dog in our care. Good behavior is encouraged and reinforced. All participants, over the age of 6 months, are required to be spayed or neutered. To enroll your pet in daycare you will need to complete the following:
1. Fill out the attached application
2. Provide a current vaccination history from your veterinarian including a yearly Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and bi-annual Fecal.
3. Schedule an appointment with our staff for a pre-enrollment temperment test. (A ten to fifteen-minute session with the staff and interaction time in daycare.)
Our daycare facility is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm. Overnight boarding is also available. You may call our office at 636-970-2606 for more information, email us at vetstopah@gmail.com, or visit our website at www.vetstopanimalhospital.com.
We look forward to having your pet in our playgroup.
Sincerely,
Cassie Wulfmeier | Lodge Lead

Daycare Requirements
Our guidelines are set forth to ensure the health and safety of all daycare participants,
All dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.
All dogs must be current on vaccinations. Owners must have proof from their veterinarian that rabies, distemper, bordetella, influenza, bi-annual fecal are current.
All dogs must be free of flea and ticks. If external parasites are found, your pet will be isolated for the day and treated.
All dogs must be in good health. Owners certify that their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free of any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests, including fleas or ticks. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or re-admitted.
All dogs must be non-aggressive toward other dogs, people, food, and toys. Owners must certify that their dogs have not harmed or shown aggression toward any person or dog.
If your pet is found not to play well in daycare, you will be notified and your pet will be placed in a large run for the day.
The safety and health of our participants is our primary concern.
Your pet will be in a large run prior to daycare starting, for a 2 hour lunch, snack, mid-day break, and after daycare while waiting to be picked up.
If loose stool or diarrhea is noted while here, your pet will be removed from the group and you will be notified. A fecal with negative results may be required prior to being re-admitted to the daycare population.
