BOOSTER INFORMATION AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (updated 9/9/2022)
Bivalent Booster Eligibility
Moderna
Individuals 18 years of age and older are eligible for a single booster dose of Moderna if it has been at least 2 months since completing primary series or most recent booster dose.
Pfizer
Individuals 12 year of age and older are eligible for a single booster dose of Pfizer if it has been at least 2 months since completing primary series or most recent booster dose.
Individuals who received Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine are eligible to receive a bivalent booster of Moderna of Pfizer if it has been at least 2 months since most recent dose.
Individuals cannot get a bivalent booster without first completing at least a primary series.
You may receive a different or same vaccine as your primary series for booster.
Monovalent Booster Eligibility:
Indiviuals between 5-11 years of age are eligible for 1 booster dose of monovalent vaccine after completing primary vaccine series and at least 5 months has passed since last dose.
You may receive other vaccines at the same time as COVID-19 vaccine.
