  • First and foremost, thank you for your interest in adopting a new family member from NARPS! By choosing to adopt, you are actually helping two lives-the life of the animal you are adopting and the next animal we can save in their place. We work hard to provide the best care and future for the animals entrusted in our care, so we want to make sure that each adoption is the best match possible for the pet and their new family so that it is a match that will last for the pet's lifetime. If you are willing to make a forever commitment and provide a lifetime of love and care to the pet you are interested in, please continue on with this application!

    Please provide detailed information for all questions and answer them with 100% honesty.

    Our adoption fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and includes the cost for vaccinations and other medical care, the spaying or neutering of the animal, microchipping and an adoption service charge.

    To qualify for adoption, you must:

    • Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license or state ID  stating your current address;
    • Own your home or be able to provide  proof of approval by landlord/property owner; and
    • Have the necessary means and ability to provide adequate time, money, care and love to the adopted pet.

    NARPS is a foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a facility for you to visit to come and meet our adoptable animals. We ONLY set up meets with an adoptable animal if your application gets approved.  Also, it is our policy to not "hold" dogs for any length of time once an application is approved (example: vacations, moving, travel). Please only apply if you are truly ready *now* to bring a new dog into your home.

    DISCLAIMER: We reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone. There are several reasons we may choose to deny your request to foster/adopt with us. These reasons include, but are not limited to: misleading or failing to provide accurate information on this application, negative references from veterinarian and/or personal references, lack of permission from landlord/property manager/homeowners association, rescue dog meeting current pet(s) is unsuccessful, inappropriate match of rescue dog to family, applicant name found on a “Do not adopt” list, etc . Completing an adoption application is not a guarantee that you will receive the dog you are applying for or any other adoptable animal from NARPS.

    ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE ANSWERED EVEN IF SOME MAY NOT BE APPLICABLE TO YOU. OTHERWISE YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT SUBMIT.
