The LPOA will be putting on a 8 week weight loss competition for individuals who are 18 years of age and older. It's simple to do and easy to register. Do you want to shed that Covid 15 or in some cases Covid 30 and be the champion for this event? Lakewood has many options for social distance exercising from our outdoor fitness path to our beautiful walking trails. The competition will start February 1st, 2021 and run thru March 29th, 2021. **Final weight must be submitted by NOON on the 29th.** The cost is $12 and the weight loss champion will win a portion of the entry fees. If we have enough participants, we will declare a male and a female winner. There are only two main requirements everyone must follow. The first requirement is that we will check-in every two weeks via email to keep up with your progress (weight) and update the standings so your response is mandatory. The second requirement is that we ask you be HONEST (Individual Weights will not be published just weight percentage lost.) If you do not follow the 2 main requirements, you will be eliminated from the competition. We are sorry, but there will not be any refunds once this event begins.
