    Multiple listings:

If you have multiple businesses or multiple business locations and want them all to be listed as members of CISA's Local Hero Program, you can do so. We ask that you refer to the appropriate sliding payscale for your business to determine the enrollment cost of any additional listing.

Click here to see the sliding scales for each category. If you have any questions about how to use the sliding scales to determine your multiple listing payment, contact Dan@buylocalfood.org or call 413-665-7100 ext. 26.

Please read the text below to determine your tier eligibility (determine if your business qualifies for tier 1 or tier 2).

    Tier 1 - Business Eligibility:

You should join as a business member if at least 25% of your entire product line consists of products containing 50% or more locally grown ingredients or materials. By "contains 50% or more locally grown ingredients or materials", we mean that your product meets at least one of the following criteria:

    • 50% of the ingredients volume come from local farms
    • 50% of the weight of your ingredients come from local farms, or
    • 50% of the value of your ingredients come from local farms

Business members may use the Local Hero logo in general marketing for their business as a whole, in addition to using the logo on any products that meet the 50% criteria.

    Tier 2 - Product-Only Eligibility:

You should join as a product-only member if you have individual products that contain 50% or more locally grown ingredients or materials, and these products make up less than 25% of your product line. (See the list above for an explanation of what we mean by this 50% criteria).

Product-only members may use the Local Hero logo on any products that meet the 50% criteria. They may not use the logo in general marketing for their business as a whole.

  • Below, for the period of April 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022 please provide a list of at least four farms that you purchase from on a routine basis (either directly or through distributors). Online guide listing

All Local Hero members get a listing in CISA's online guide.

Your listing is a detailed page that tells customers all about who you are, what you produce and sell, how to find you, events at your business, and much more.

As a new member, CISA staff first has to set up your listing, which we will begin once we have received your application.

To get us started, please include a description of your business in the box below. This will be the overview text a consumer reads when looking up your business. The online guide is also a great way to share up-to-date information regarding COVID-19 hours, restrictions, dining and delivery options with customers.

Don't sweat it too much-- you'll have the opportunity to edit it later on.
