Digital Entries close 2pm Sunday May 10th.

The theme for this salon is "Freeze the action – action shot which captures the sense of motion with minimal or no blur. Panning shots which show background blur are not valid".

You may enter one open image and one themed image. If just entering one image you may choose either open or themed.

If entering two images, whichever category you choose for the first image ("open" or "themed") will cause the category for the second image to automatically default to the other.

Note that the guideline for the judge when assessing a themed entry is that "the theme must predominate".

Please note that the image size must be no more than 3840 pixels wide, and no more than 2160 pixels high. This rule applies both to landscape format and portrait format - thus for a portrait format image, the long edge (height) should be a maximum of 2160 pixels. A perfectly sized image of any aspect ratio will ALWAYS conform EXACTLY to one of those dimensions.

Digital Image Entries

You can enter up to two digital images.

The file names of the images you upload (with the .jpg removed from the end) will be used as the title.

For example, if you want the title to be "Nice Sunset" then name and upload the image file as "Nice Sunset.jpg".

Important:

Please remember that the images should be in full resolution .jpg format, sRGB colour space, no more than 3840 pixels wide, and no more than 2160 pixels high.
