Studio terms and conditions

Each person who visits must complete.
Gym Usage

Please complete this section whether you're hiring a personal trainer, or using the gym.
🗓 Gym Bookings (Please tick all boxes).*

Sessions can only be booked in within 24 hours in advance of the session commencing. Once made, they are locked in, and nobody else will be able to book during this time. You have sole usage of the room you are using (excludes studio floor).There may be occasions where Luke requires your booking hour for unforeseen gym maintenance. Should this be the case, your session will be rearranged at no extra cost and sincerest apologies given.
💰 Hire Costs. (Please tick all boxes).*

It's £10 for one hour of room usage. For this fee, you may also bring a gym partner, and help yourself to a free bottle of water*. *Water excluded from gym membership option.Full studio hire (excluding the Treatment Room) is £25 per hour to account for both the Studio Floor, PT Room, and Weights Room being booked out for your sole usage.Monthly private gym usage is £35p/c/m for clients of personal trainers at the studio, or £50p/c/m for local residents (which grants you to 1x PT catch up session per month). This allows 2/3 gym visits per calendar week. The £35 offering excludes additional PT sessions.Bookings cannot be carried over or 'stacked up', regardless of holidays etc.
💳 Gym/Session Payments. (Tick all boxes).*

All bookings / memberships are only confirmed once payment has been made upfront. No entry will be allowed without upfront payment. It is kindly asked that you reference your name when paying and ‘LAPT’.All payments must be made via bank transfer or by direct debit/ standing order. No cash payments are accepted sorry.The bank details are Luke Armour, 20-54-25 and 43885062.When setting up your monthly direct debit for memberships, please use your name as the reference and ensure it is at the beginning / end of the month 28th-1st.Direct debits can be cancelled at any point and usage of the gym will still be permitted for the remainder of the month paid for.
⏱ Studio hire lateness / cancellation. (Tick all boxes).*

Should you arrive late for your session, you may still use the facilities, but ensure that you remain within the timeframe you have been given, and not to over-run. The gym operates on a tight schedule.Any last minute cancelled sessions will unfortunately have to stand unless extreme circumstances have determined your ‘no show’. This is entirely under Luke’s discretion.
⏱ Budget Personal Training. (Tick all boxes).*

Should you arrive late for your session, that’s fine, but the session cannot overrun due to other studio bookings on the calendar.Any last minute (within 24 hours of the session commencing) cancelled sessions will unfortunately have to still be deducted from your monthly session count unless extreme circumstances have determined your ‘no show’. However, this is still entirely under your personal trainers discretion.All standing orders setup to the studio can be cancelled at any point. Please be aware that upon your last payment it is advised to notify the studio of your intentions. Any leftover sessions will still be honoured.You have a 24 hour ‘cooling off’ period in which any payment made can be refunded providing no sessions have been undertaken. Once outside of this 24 hour period, no refunds are given, but sessions will still be honoured.It’s vital that you notify your personal trainer of any unforeseen medical conditions or physical injuries that arise outside of your sessions during your time with your personal trainer.The budget personal training option is designed to give you 1:1 accountability within an agreed timeslot. Any help or advice you require should be done so within that timeframe. This allows the studio to keep the cost of your training down. Should you want an even more detailed service, your personal trainer can explain to you how it works, and you can upgrade your service.
👟 Gym Etiquette. (Please tick all boxes).*

It is kindly asked that you do not wear muddy footwear or clothing whilst in the facility.Please wash hands upon entry and ensure the equipment is wiped down using the cleaning agents provided. This is greatly appreciated.Please do not drop, throw or mishandle any weights or equipment. It’s a private studio, boutique style gym that is family owned and replacing equipment is very difficult at the best of times.Feel free to use the studio speaker to play your music, however headphones are preferred. Please be cautious of loud music, especially if any other rooms are in use and being courteous to neighbours. Moderate music levels are fine. Any continuous complaints may result in discontinued bookings.Please put all equipment back in the place your found it to ensure smooth operation of gym usage throughout the day.
🔐 Safety and Security. (Tick all boxes).*

Cameras operate in the studio and record 24/7. This is for your safety, and my insurance purposes. Should anything happen whilst you are in the gym, feel free to request any footage to assist you.It is advised that unless you have a gym partner with you, please do not lift to your maximum or attempt dangerous exercises. As experienced as you may be, there isn’t anyone to help you immediately if anything goes wrong.Every visitor entry into the studio is logged, and any unscheduled visits will result in no further bookings at the studio. Safety for visitors is paramount.Please only visit if you are aware of your limitations and are fairly confident in the gym environment. If you’re a beginner, it’s highly advisable to book a one off personal training session to show you the studio set up and how to use the equipment to support your goals.Where misuse, damage or theft is suspected, video footage will be reviewed and where obvious wrongdoings are evident, footage may be passed to the police.Please turn off lights and any plugs that are used during your session. Where ‘Smart Plugs’ are being used, please leave them on as they are used to control my studio heating. Simply turn them off by the 'button' on the plug instead of the switch.Studio bluetooth fobs or tags carry a £5 initial one-off non refundable cost and are £10 for a replacement key should one be needed.Please be aware of where the first aid box is, and the fire extinguisher.The front door can be locked from the inside - to open, press the button in, hold, and turn right.
🔏 Declarations. (Please tick all boxes).*

It is your responsibility for your health and wellbeing whilst in the studio. Any injuries are not the responsibility of Luke Armour or Luke Armour Personal Training (LAPT Studio).Should you get any minor injury, it is important to be aware where the first aid box is in the studio. This will be clearly marked. It is not the responsibility of Luke Armour or Luke Armour Personal Training if used incorrectly.You must not remove any equipment from the studio or cause any intentional damage to equipment through mishandling it. Should irresponsible damage occur, you may be liable to any replacement costs incurred to Luke Armour Personal Training.Please do not consume food in the gym areas and no alcohol or drugs under any circumstances are allowed in the studio. Any recording footage that shows drug usage will be passed on to the police.You are the responsibility of your personal trainer at the studio when you are with one. If at any point you have any feedback to pass over to Luke, please don’t hesitate to do so.
