Volunteer ushers must be able to stand for extended periods of time and have the ability to navigate stairs unless a reasonable accommodation is requested
Volunteer ushers must have at least 6 months of availability between November and June
Volunteer ushers are required to usher a minimum of twice per month
Volunteer ushers are required to read the handbook
Volunteer ushers are expected to attend an in-person orientation meeting
Volunteer ushers are required to dress in a polished, uniform and conservative manner. Not doing so is reason to be excused from the performance.
Volunteer ushers are required to wear a white top covered by a black jacket, sport coat, cardigan or sweater and paired with black pants or a black skirt. Shoes should be Black and closed toe. Black suits or black dresses are also acceptable. Ties are optional. White shirts with pictures or lettering are not acceptable. Sneakers are not an acceptable form of footwear
