SLCFPD Accepts Lake County as AHJ

South Lake County Fire Protection District
Please note the following:

The South Lake County Fire Protection District is not the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) within the Fire District for coding, permitting or inspection processes of Building Projects (including Solar Installations).

The AHJ for the Fire District is the County of Lake, through the Lake County Board of Supervisors and the Lake County Building Department.

Keep this letter with your building packet, as you submit it to the County of Lake, as part of the permitting process, for approval.

The South Lake County Fires Protection District's only involvement is to collect Mitigation Fees per direction of the Lake County Board of Supervisors.
