  • You may be a candidate for a crown extension in addition to beaded row extensions. A crown extension is a hair piece that is custom colored and cut, and clips on to the crown of your head - giving you the density you are lacking, and ensuring the ability to cover the attachment of your extensions.

    The investement of crown extensions can range from $1800 - $5500+. This price range depends on the cap size, length, color, and amount of customization necessary for the custom crown.

    All pieces that we purchase at Ella Rose are 100% Remi human hair so that it can be colored and styled to look like your hair. We do not work with synthetic or hybrid pieces of any kind.

    To narrow down the pricing, we will have a personalized consultation. 

    Maintenance. The maintenance of the crown exteniosn is minimal. It requires occasional washing and re-styling, and depending on the color, may need an occasional color refresh. 

    If the crown extension is worn in addition to extensions, the extensions will have to be maintained on thier normal schedule.

    We will order and customize your crown extension even if you are not a regular client of the salon. We are happy to take care of your natural hair and/or extensions as desired, but we can also simply create your hair piece, and see you only if and when you need or want your next crown.

  • If your hair is not currently to you shoulders, it may not be possible to install extensions. Or, if it is possible, you will likley have to wear three rows of extensions, and cut them shorter than you may want initially.

    Many people have grown out their hair while wearing extensions. Patience is key. You will need to see a higher level/more experienced extension stylist for your first install due to the advanced skill needed to create the appropriate blend.

  • The following section will explain the time and financial commitments associated with extensions, and move you toward you personalized consultation with one of our extension stylsits.

  • First Time Clients


    First time clients can expect to invest between $880-$3600 for their extensions, depending on how many rows, how much hair is needed, length of hair for your desired look, and stylist performing the service.

    Volumizing extensions - Adds fulness to your hair, and very little length. (Generally one row) $880-$1465.

    Length and thickness (generally two rows) - $1560 - $2590

    Maximum length and thickness - a dramatic transformation (generally three rows) - $2080 - $3600.

    This cost covers the extension hair, install, cut, and style. Only through a thorough consultation can we narrow down a more specific range. 

    Color on your hair is a separate service. Through our consultation, your color service will be quoted. 

    Hair comes in 18 inch, and 22 inch. Custom orders for longer hair and textured hair can be quoted.


    Maintenance


    Your extensions will need to be moved up every 6-8 weeks.

    Your move-up appointment cost will vary depending on the amount of rows you need maintained, and the coloring service you need. Average color appointments last between 2.5 - 4 hours. 

    At Ella Rose Hair Boutique, our color services are booked in hourly sessions. Each stylist charges an hourly rate based on their skill, speed, and availability. We do ask for gratuity at Ella Rose. Our current extension stylists charge as follows.

    Our extension services are charged at a per row price. Each extension stylist charges their per row price based on experience, expertise, and availability.


    Meagan - Extension services - $225 for the first row, $200 for each additional row 

        Color rate - $195/hr @meaganreitzhair (currently only booking extensions for topper clients)

    Ashlyn - Extension services - $150 for the first row, $125 for each additional row 

        Color rate -$105/hr  @hairbyashlynwood

    Kandice - Extension services - $150 for the first row, $125 for each additional row 

        Color rate - $90/hr  @hairbykandice__

    Selene - Extension services - $125 for the first row, $100 for each additonal row

        Color rate - $105/hr @heyitsnen.hair

    Brenda - Extension services -$125 for the first row, $100 for each additonal row

     Replacing Extension Hair

     

    Extension hair may last 6-10 months with proper care, and depending on how you want your extensions to look.

    Extension hair wears out and thins out at the ends, just as natural hair does. It will need to be trimmed to stay fresh looking, and will therefore shorten over the months.

    You can replace your hair all at once as needed, or, our preference is to replace at least two wefts per row every other move up appointment to keep extensions looking fresh, full, and long continually.

    Hair is priced per weft and cost depends on length.

    Custom lengths and wavy or curly hair will be quoted upon request.


    - 18" wefts - $105
    - 22" wefts - $150


    Deposit


    A $500 non-refundable deposit will be collected before booking your appointment to secure your spot. A no show or last minute rebooking will result in a loss of this deposit. Rescheduling at least 48 hours prior will allow you to move your appointment while keeping your deposit. In the event you change your mind about extensiosn after the deposit is paid, the deposit remains non-refundable, but is kept as a credit on your account and can go toward services or retail at the salon - including Halo extenions and clip-in extensions.

  • We understand that due to your busy schedule you may have to cancel or change an appointment with us.

    In order to respect the time of both our guests and our staff, we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or rescheduling at least 48 hours prior to the appointment.​

    This is so that we may have ample time to fill the appointment time should you need to cancel your service. Appointments that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior will result in a fee of 50% of the time you were reserved for. This fee must be paid before rebooking your next service. This fee does not go toward your next service.

    A no call/no show will result in 100% fee for the booked service. This will need to be paid before rebooking. Rebooking will be at the discretion of the stylist.

    All services are non-refundable but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge if needed.

    The adjustment service must be a mistake from the service provider, not something about which you may have changed your mind (after the service has been performed). In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. You have 7 days to contact the salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction.

    Please keep in mind that when correcting box color or going from dark to light, multiple sessions may be necessary to achieve your desired result. Occasionally, a desired result in unachievable due to the clients hair, hair history, or unrealistic expectations. Stylists will do their best to communicate the art and science of hair so everyone can understand the process, and what is achievable.

    Please arrange for child care for your appointment. We want you, and the other guests of the salon to enjoy a relaxing, uninterrupted service. Children are welcome at the salon when the are receiving a service. Children’s services are charged the full hourly session price of their stylist. Children under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult through their entire service. Children under the age of 18 must have parental approval and permission through our parent release form before receiving their first service.
