  • Read the following information carefully.

    Applications due by Sunday, January 31, 2021 by 11:59 p.m.  A copy of your recent report card or your SIS transcript MUST be uploaded with your application as well as a copy of your paid dues receipt.  (You MUST scan and/or take a photo to upload.)  You MUST pay online:  .   • To qualify for CSF membership this semester, follow these guidelines (use links below to help you calculate points):

      1. You must earn a minimum of 10 points from last semester’s grades.  
    • The first 4 points must be from LIST I (unless you are a senior app lying for membership in February or June).   All 10 may come from List I.
    • The first 7 points (including 4  points from List I) must be from LIST I and LIST II.  
    • The remaining points may be from any LIST I, LIST II or LIST III. 
    • As of 2011, summer school courses no longer may be used for semester qualification.  Courses being used MUST be completed during the semester seeking membership.
    • You must use no more than 5 courses to qualify.
    • Please contact:  Sra. Salsman de Rodriguex by email IF you do not find your courses on the Lists and/or participate in special programs that are not on the list.
  • No CSF points are given for physical education, courses taken in lieu of physical education, subjects repeated to improve a grade, courses involving clerking and office/teaching assisting, and courses taken on a pass/fail basis.

     

    CSF points are granted as follows:

    • A grade of A  = 3 points.
    • A grade of B    = 1 point.
    • One additional point shall be granted for a grade of A or B in an AP, IB or Honors course, up to a maximum of two such points per semester.
    • A grade of  C = 0 points
    • A grade of  D or  F in any course, even in one you cannot nuse to qualify,  disqualifies you from membership at this time.

     

    • As of 2011, college courses count exactly the same as high school courses.  No extra points are given unless the course is designated as “HONORS” on the transcript.

     

  • Remember:

    1. Semester membership is based on work done in the previous semester.  ( Summer school may may not be used. )     THE COURSES/GRADES BEING USE FOR THIS APPLICATION ARE FOR FIRST  SEMESTER 2020.
    2. You must re-apply each semester.   You are allowed only one late application throughout high school.  CONTACT:   Sra. Salsman de Rodriguex IF you have a late application to submit.
    3. To qualify as a Gold Seal Graduate, you must be a member of CSF for at least 4 semesters (these memberships must be based on grades earned in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades) and one of the memberships must be based on grades earned as a senior.   Students are notified during the Spring prior to graduation regarding honors.
    4. Seniors who qualify for Gold Seal Graduate status during their final semester must notify Mrs. Salsman de Rodríguex of their impending qualifications two weeks before graduation.
    • Your transcript/report card will be reviewed using the Course Lists noted.
    • Any student with an Academic Integrity Policy violation is NOT eligible for membership.  

     

  • List the number of points earned from each list according to your transcript/report card.  You MAY have points in only one category and/or some points two or three categories.  REMEMBER, you must have FOUR (4) points from LIST I.

  • Should be Empty:
