SUSCC Gene HAAS Scholarship Application
$2,000 Non-Renewable Scholarship
Scholarship Requirements:
- Complete an application for General Admission to Southern Union and meet all admission requirements. Apply online at www.suscc.edu .
- Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required.
- Agree to pursue a Degree in Machine Shop Technology.
- Scholarship only pays for courses in the degree plan and will not pay for duplicate courses.
- Must maintain a 2.5 or higher GPA and good academic standing while on scholarship.
Complete this scholarship application and submit it with the following items included:
1. Letter of Recommendation - A letter of recommendation from teacher, counselor, principal, employer, etc.
2. High School Transcripts - High School and/or college transcripts as applicable. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted.
3. Personal Statement – Tell us about your educational and career goals as well as how this scholarship will help you.
