This workshop is designed for all audiences- you need not be a specialist to join the workshop. Over the course of the classes participants will gain a deeper understanding of Maya History and the compelling stories that can be described and connected through the reading of ancient texts. A number of unpublished discoveries will be described. A happy hour will follow each class, allowing participants to ask questions and connect with each other.

Registration for this class includes a signed and numbered limited-edition lithographic print created specifically for this course.
Hand-drawn on a lithographic stone by David Stuart, the piece will be printed at Slugfest Press Printmaking Workshop by Carolyn Porter Stuart. Images and information describing how the piece is made and printed will be sent to each registrant, along with a collophon page describing the piece. Each artwork will be mailed to class registrants individually.
