The 874K Disabilities Coalition is hosting our Annual Rally & Advocacy Event virtually this year on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.  Because of the COVID pandemic, we will not be able to gather in Frankfort like we have done for the past 20 years.  But we will have a Zoom meeting that day to hear stories from Kentuckians with disabilities and to listen to messages from our elected Frankfort policy-makers.

Here’s what we need to hear from you (in 2-3 minutes) before Feb. 5th:

• Will you join the Enable & Empower Caucus which seeks to address disability issues?  [For further information, please contact the Co-Chairs, Reps. Brandon Reed or Al Gentry]

• What experience have you had with people with disabilities and their individual services and support needs in your local community?

• What action will you take to ensure sufficient funding and resources in the SFY 2022 budget to promote access to community-based services and supports for Kentuckians with disabilities?

 There are 2 ways to get us your video.

The first way is for you to record the video on your cell phone, laptop or other device and send it through this form.

The second way is to contact Marcie Timmerman at mtimmerman@mhaky.org or 859-684-7778 to set up a time for her to record you via Zoom.

Video submissions must be 3 minutes or less.

Please make sure you own the rights to any images or music that are a part of your video.

Make sure your video does not contain improper language, images, or sounds.

Submissions become the property of the volunteer-led 874K Disabilities Coalition. You are giving us permission to use your likeness, your audio, and the content of this video in pursuit of the 874K Disabilities Coalition mission. We may edit videos for social media, use in our virtual rally, future promotion of the event, and other ways deemed proper by 874K Disabilities Coalition volunteers.

You MUST be 18 years or older and not under guardianship to upload a video. If you are under 18 years of age, or under guardianship, please have a parent or guardian upload the video on your behalf.
