Don Cleavinger Family & Ryan Ackles Family Information Technology Scholarship

A $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from one of the seven GISD high schools.
Deadline to apply - April 6, 2026
Scholarship criteria as follows:
- Recipient must have attended a Garland ISD high school for four years
- Recipient must be a student in good standing at the end of the school year
- Recipient musthave a GPA of 3.0 or higher and plan to attend a public or private college or accredited vocational/technical school
- Recipient must have participated in a UIL extra-curricular activity during high shool
- Recipient must be planning for a career in the area of Information Technology (including computer science, software engineering, IT management, etc.)
