The event formerly known as Sunday Afternoon in the Park has been renamed the Annual Tina Ross Afternoon in the Park as a tribute to the late Commissioner Tina Ross in honor of her love for the arts and the Town of Mint Hill.
The Town of Mint Hill in conjunction with the Arts and Science Council and Atrium Health will sponsor the event. The committee is soliciting artists and musicians to display, perform, demonstrate and sell their products at the Annual Tina Ross Afternoon in the Park, on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.
The event will be held at the fountain in front of Town Hall located at 4430 Mint Hill Village Lane. There is a $25 fee for artist participation (food vendor fees are $30); vendors need to provide their own tables, tents, displays, etc. No electricity is provided. Only items handmade by the exhibiting artist will be allowed. Franchises, imports, and commercially produced items are strictly prohibited. The committee reserves the right to reject any pieces that do not fit our family friendly event. Space is limited.
