Inter Atlanta FC Financial Aid Application

Overview: Inter Atlanta FC (IAFC) is proud to offer our financial aid program for soccer athletes who need financial assistance. This is available to players in all programs: recreational, academy, and select. The financial aid budget is limited. This application helps us determine the financial eligibility of the applicant, it is important to be as complete as possible. All supporting documentation is required in the application process; the deadline to apply is May 22, 2022.

Documents and info you will need to complete application:
1. Proof of Income

A. Copy of your 2021 Federal Income Tax Return, pages 1 and 2 AND paycheck stubs for the 30 days preceding your Financial Aid application

B. If you do not file a tax return, you will need to provide a W-2/1099 for 2021 and paycheck stubs for the past 30 days preceding your Financial Aid application for all household members with income. You also must provide contact information for your employer for income verification. Additionally, any Financial Aid award is contingent on IAFC receiving a copy of your filed 2021 Federal Income Tax Return and any Financial Aid award is subject to being adjusted if the information on your filed tax return differs from the information you have submitted on the Financial Aid application.

2. Amount of any other income the household receives, including but not limited to child support, alimony, student loans, grants, and other money.

Information about your application and award: If you are awarded financial aid, your awarded amount will cover the following:
- The awarded percentage of your club registration fees.
- Your uniform costs are fully covered regardless of your award amount.
- Travel assistance may be included and will be verified in your award letter.
3. Tournament fees and travel costs – some may not be covered if not included in the Financial Aid award or if the team chooses to enter additional tournaments beyond those initially approved for your team by IAFC.
