Self-host:Self-hosted in your own cloud provider (Google, Amazon or Microsoft). Choose this option if you wish to control and manage 3CX and its hosting yourself.
On-Premise:Install 3CX on Linux, Windows or Raspberry PI on site.Northpoint can provide deployment services for both options.
3CX requires a fully resolvable FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) and a matching SSL certificate, to work seamlessly in and out of the office.
You can choose a FQDN and we will set this up for you.
IMPORTANT: the FQDN/subdomain you choose is linked to your license key and cannot be changed or modified without reinstalling the entire system.
N.B. If you would like to use your own FQDN, we will contact you with the requirements to set that up. Please note you will need a signed matching SSL certificate from a well-known certificate authority for installation on the server, and that you will need to manage the domain and SSL certificate renewals on your own.
The below ports will need to be opened on any firewalls or security appliances to allow external access to the system for management and telephony services. The default values are shown, and should not be changed unless there is a conflict or other reason to do so. You can leave these at default.
3CX requires an administrator account and specific system passwords. Northpoint can define these password for you, where you can modify them after handover, or, if you prefer, you can list the main account names and passwords you would like below.
Northpoint still recommends that you change you password after handover.
3CX requires a minimum of 10-characters in passwords, with at least 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase letter and one digit.
