Purpose

The purpose of the Susan C. Trenchard Service Award is to recognize the years of service to Harmony, Inc., the chapter, and the community by one of Harmony's registered quartets. It is not intended that this should be an award only for those who have reached high rank in competition, although such achievement would not disqualify a quartet from consideration. Rather, it is for the unselfish giving of time and energies of the quartet members and their quartet as a group who are, through actions rather than words, living Harmony's "Blend with Friendship."

 

Eligibility

• Any active Harmony, Inc. quartet which has, for at least two years prior to being nominated for this award, been registered with Harmony, Inc.
• Personnel of the quartet may have changed during that period.
• Previous winners of this award will not be eligible to repeat as winners for a period of five years, although individual members would be eligible recipients.

In order to complete this nomination, we require verification of this nomination from one of the following:

• Chapter chorus OR
• Quartet (all four members must verify the nomination) OR
• Letter from five (5) Harmony, Inc. members (regular or associate) exclusive of the personnel of the nominated quartet OR
• Letter from a member of the Harmony, Inc. International Board of Directors

Upon submission of this nomination, an email will be sent to the person(s) named below requesting validation of this quartet's eligibility.
