Volunteers who qualify to serve in this ministry must hold in strict confidence and not disclose, distribute, sell, copy, share or otherwise use IRC’s “Confidential Information,” which includes but is not limited to (a) files, donor or beneficiary information, records, drawings, specifications, equipment, and similar items relating to operations of IRC, and (b) any information that is (i) clearly and conspicuously marked as “confidential” or with a similar designation; (ii) identified by IRC as confidential and/or proprietary before, during, or promptly after presentation or communication; or (iii) disclosed to Collaborator in a manner in which IRC reasonably communicated, or Collaborator should reasonably have understood under the circumstances, that the disclosure should be treated as confidential, whether or not the specific designation “confidential” or any similar designation is used.
Volunteers may not remove copies of clients’ records from the Project site.
Volunteers are prohibited from identifying a client in papers, reports or case studies without first obtaining written permission from the IRC and the client.
Volunteers are prohibited from taking any identifiable photographs or recordings of clients of the project. Prior written consent must be obtained from IRC and the client before even non-identifiable photographs or recordings are taken of the Project or any client. Any and all media releases, public announcements, social media posts, interviews, or other media and public
disclosures related to the Project by the Collaborator must be made to represent GraceLife Church alone, and not IRC or other collaborating partners of the project.
