APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Requests due by June 25, 2021

The East Lake Eagles Youth Football & Cheerleading organization is committed to making its program available for all.

To be considered for scholarship assistance, applicants must meet the following guidelines:

Understandings of accepting a scholarship:
1. The parent/guardian of a scholarship recipient is required to complete a minimum of ten (10) volunteer hours (concession, field maintanence, other tasks as assigned) prior to the first game of the season. The volunteer coordinator will assist with scheduling of volunteer hours.
  - Failure to comply with volunteer requests could result in the requirement that the participant's scholarship be reimbursed and/or participant's removal from the program.
2. The recipient and parent/guardian will abide by all rules and regulations and will always display appropriate behavior, act in a courteous and respectable manner while participating in league sponsored activities.
3. Approved recipients may receive up to a 75% scholarship toward program fees.
Scholarship Guidelines/Eligibility:

The scholarship program is available to anyone desiring financial assistance and who demonstrates financial need as follows:
- Applicants meeting the Florida Income Eligibility Guidelines for the free or reduced price meal program.
  - A letter from school confirming participation must be provided
  - or ~ in the absence of a school letter, the applicant must provide proof of family income.
- All supporting documents must accompany the application for the request to be considered.
- Requests are limited and are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Scholarship approval does not guarantee enrollment into the program of the applicant’s choice.
- Scholarship requests need to be pre-approved.
- All scholarship opportunities will be relinquished if a scholarship recipient has excessive abscenses without notice/approval.
