Yes Balloon (CSz Richmond) Online Leagues & Classes Code of Conduct
We’re glad you’ve chosen to take an online class with us. We want to make sure everyone has a great experience. To be sure that we’re all on the same page, we have laid out some expectations. As an online student at CSz, you agree to adhere to the CSz Richmond Code of Conduct. Below is a summary of the most important parts.
The following applies to all class participants including Teachers, Students, and any member of the Yes Balloon (CSz Richmond) staff. If the particpant is a minor (under 18 years old) this agreement may signed by a legal guardian on their behalf.
No Harassment or Discrimination – Zero Tolerance!
We want a safe place for everyone, & therefore, we have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination or harassment of any kind.
No sexual harassment of any kind
No intimidation, bullying or other forms of harassment of any kind
No hate speech of any kind. This includes comments that are homophobic, misogynistic, racist, xenophobic or prejudiced
This applies to all venues, both physical and virtual (online)
What May Happen if You Violate the Policy?
If you violate our policy while participating in this class, you may be asked to leave & permanently discontinue class or league particpation. Policy violation is determined at the sole discretion of the Richmond CSz Leadership Team, including the class instructor. No refunds will be granted to anyone who violates this policy.
If You Feel You’ve Been Harassed, Discriminated, or Retaliated Against for Reporting
Immediately tell the person the behavior is unwelcome
If it stops, no further action is necessary
If the behavior continues, or you are uncomfortable confronting the person, report your concerns to anyone who is part of the Richmond CSz leadership team, including Dave Gau, Executive Director -
For more formal complaints: Any individual who feels harassed, discriminated, or retaliated against may initiate the complaint process by filing a complaint in writing and sending it to our Yes Balloon (CSz Richmond) board of directors at email@example.com. In the spirit of due process, no formal action will be taken against any person under this policy unless Yes Balloon has received a written complaint containing sufficient details to determine if the policy has been violated.
Any instances of criminal activity (e.g., assault, rape, molestation, etc.) that justify legal action should be reported directly to the proper legal authorities, in addition to informing the Yes Balloon Board of Directors.
