OUR CANDIDATES AND VACCINATION
At this point, 95% percent of our candidates are vaccinated. We do ask about their vaccination status in the application but legally they are under no obligation to provide us with that information under the POPIA act. When they do, it is completely voluntary, and we disclose that information to you with their permission.
We would like to protect you as the employer, the employee as well as ourselves in this matter and therefore all questions related to the Covid vaccine, must be with respect to each other's beliefs and convictions and all information provided must be voluntary and not under duress. Anything other than this, will be construed as discrimination under our Labour Law and Human Rights Act (art.14).
