The Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the Dallas Women Lawyers Association are excited to begin their sixth year of Mentoring Circles, a program that seeks to facilitate the connection between established female lawyers and their younger counterparts through mentorship. The Mentoring Circles program aims to integrate the women of the Dallas legal community through mentoring, teaching, and fellowship, centering on the development, advancement, and retention of female lawyers.
All participants will be divided into Mentoring Circles consisting of ten to twelve female lawyers in different stages of their careers. Throughout the year, there will be four large group meetings, with featured speakers, and several small group meetings. The large group meetings will provide insight and advice on a variety of topics including business development and career advancement, as well as provide an environment that fosters the development of mentorship relationships. The small group meetings will be an opportunity for the mentors and mentees to connect with each other.
Mentees must be licensed attorneys who are 36 or younger as of January 1, 2021 (or licensed five years or less) and must be a DAYL member. Mentees should also consider joining DWLA. To join DAYL, click here. To join DWLA, click here.
