Guidelines:

HFTP conducts a Call for Presentations each year for the Annual Convention (AC) educational program. All completed submissions will be reviewed by the AC Education Advisory Council and the educational program will be announced in June 2021.

HFTP is looking for a wide array of topics that are innovative, engaging, inspiring, and informative for hospitality finance and technology professionals. HFTP strives to offer relevant, timely education and training to help attendees do their jobs more effectively and make their companies more successful.

Conference attendees are interested in hearing about best practices, lessons learned and receiving tangible take-aways they can implement on the job immediately. Some current topics for 2021 to be considered are:

Best Practices, Operation Solutions, Ethics, IT Security, Cyber Security, Data Privacy, Time Management, Internal Controls/Fraud, Risk Management, Forecasting, Insurance, Negotiation Skills, Forecasting Tools, Legal and Government Relations, Personal Development and more

Presenters will receive a complimentary Annual Convention registration in exchange for speaking. Presenters will be responsible for their own travel and hotel expenses incurred by participating in the convention.

Notification of Acceptance:
You will be notified with a decision concerning your proposal by June 30, 2021. Upon acceptance, HFTP reserves the right to modify the session title and description to fit our style and format guidelines for the purpose of the brochure, website and onsite guide.
