🔍 TREATMENT OVERVIEW
Scarlet SRF is a minimally invasive radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment that uses short-pulse RF energy to stimulate collagen, tighten skin, reduce fine lines, and improve skin texture. The treatment uses microneedles to deliver energy deep into the skin layers for rejuvenation and tightening with minimal downtime.

⚠️ PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow these instructions 3–7 days prior to your Scarlet SRF treatment:

❌ Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and sunburn
❌ Discontinue use of retinol, tretinoin, AHAs/BHAs, or exfoliating products
❌ Do not use self-tanning lotions or bronzers
❌ Avoid NSAIDs, aspirin, or fish oil supplements unless prescribed (to reduce bruising)
❌ No Botox, fillers, or chemical peels within 2 weeks of RF treatment
✅ Stay hydrated
✅ Notify Aeris staff of any active acne, cold sores, rash, pregnancy, pacemaker, or metal implants
✅ If you have a history of cold sores, pre-treatment antiviral medication may be recommended

🩹 POST-TREATMENT CARE
After your treatment, you may experience redness, swelling, or a sunburn-like sensation for 1–3 days. This is normal.

For best results and safety, please follow the instructions below:

✅ Use gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF 30+
✅ Apply cold compresses if needed for comfort
❌ Avoid direct sun exposure for 7–10 days
❌ Avoid hot showers, saunas, or sweating for 48 hours
❌ Do not apply makeup for 24 hours
❌ Avoid exfoliation, AHAs/BHAs, and retinoids for 5–7 days
✅ Sleep with a clean pillowcase and avoid touching the treated area
❌ Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate peeling or flaking skin
Improvements in texture, elasticity, and tone will develop over time. A series of treatments is usually recommended for optimal results.

📋 RISKS AND SIDE EFFECTS
Though rare, possible side effects include:

Redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding
Dryness, flaking, peeling
Bruising or tenderness
Temporary skin sensitivity
Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation
Infection or delayed healing (rare)
I understand that individual results may vary and that multiple treatments may be required to achieve desired outcomes.

I confirm that:

I have disclosed my full medical history including medications, allergies, and any skin or health conditions
I am not pregnant or nursing
I understand the procedure, risks, and expected outcomes
I have had all my questions answered and had time to consider this treatment
I understand that RF microneedling is an elective procedure and that results are not guaranteed
I voluntarily consent to receive Scarlet SRF microneedling at Aeris Medical Aesthetics. I agree to release Aeris, its providers, staff, and affiliates from liability related to any known or unknown complications, except where prohibited by law.

LEGAL WAIVER & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
I understand that although positive outcomes are expected, no guarantees—express or implied—can be made regarding the success, duration, or satisfaction of any treatment or service I receive at Aeris Medical Aesthetics. I acknowledge that all services offered are elective in nature, are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, and that results will vary from person to person.

I understand and accept that:

All sales are final. Aeris does not offer refunds on any service, procedure, treatment packages, or retail product.
Optimal outcomes may require a series of treatments and/or ongoing maintenance, based on individual response.
Treatment results may be affected by my personal medical history, medications, lifestyle, metabolism, skin condition, or other biological factors.
No promises, warranties, or guarantees have been made regarding outcomes or satisfaction.
I voluntarily accept and acknowledge the potential risks and side effects associated with aesthetic and wellness treatments, which may include, but are not limited to:

Redness, swelling, bruising, discomfort, or tenderness
Scarring, hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation
Infection, allergic reaction, or inflammatory response
Temporary or prolonged skin sensitivity
Unsatisfactory results or need for additional treatment(s)
I agree to disclose all relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and previous procedures to ensure safe treatment planning. I also agree to follow all pre- and post-care instructions provided by Aeris Medical Aesthetics.

By signing this waiver, I hereby release and hold harmless Aeris Medical Aesthetics, its owners, medical directors, providers, employees, agents, and affiliated personnel from any and all liability for injury, adverse reaction, dissatisfaction, loss, damage, or claim arising from or related to any service rendered, except where prohibited by law.

I understand that Aeris Medical Aesthetics maintains a professional, respectful, and safe clinical environment. Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate dismissal and denial of future services. Full payment will still be required.

This agreement will remain in effect for all current and future treatments received at Aeris, unless revoked in writing by me.
