Fostering a dog or cat or other animal is a big decision with many factors to consider. To help you through the process and answer any questions you may have, please take a look at our Find Our More section on our website.

Foster Criteria:

For dogs, we do not home to flats above ground level, with children under the age of 8 years, and you MUST have a secure garden with a min of 5ft high fencing. For cats, we do not home with children under the age of 5, if you live on a main road or close to a railway line.

Are there any medical issues that could impact your child’s behaviour towards the animal? The rescue can offer support and advice on this.

Does everyone in the home agree to your application and understand the fostering process?

Do you have any medical conditions that we may need to know about? This may help us to match a suitable animal to you and any Rescue back up we feel you may need.

Have you ever had to surrender an animal in the past for any reason? This also includes to family members. Please state why.
