With outdoor painting, chalk is used to do measurements and will wash away with rain.
In the event we cause damage to the driveway, do you consent to us to resurfacing the driveway and painting again? This is very rare but there is always the risk of human error.
Please note that colors may vary based on the surface type, condition and humidity. Cracks may appear due to these same variables but we do our best to work within these limitations.
Asphalt is porous and compacted stone and is NOT homogenous all the way around. If there are depressions, bird baths, cracks, holes – this will impact the final result - and there are many different varieties and qualities of driveway asphalt – old and chunkier asphalt may not look as nice as the asphalt used to build a tennis court.
Some asphalt is more prone to extra bleed – where the lines are less crisp. Painting outside is very different than painting on canvas or on a wall in a controlled indoor environment. We will take every step to deliver the best results.
For all surfaces, please be reminded that our painting services will not improve the appearance of cracks or blemishes on the surface.
My Backyard Sports cannot guarantee how long lines will remain as there are variable conditions and weather-related circumstances that can influence this.
Please note that driveways must be clear, clean and dry on your day of the appointment and before we can paint.
If an active Driveway is resurfaced and painted - even with the strongest paint products - the court is susceptible to damage from cars and trucks especially when turning their wheels.
