Grieving
"No rule book. No time frame. No judgement. Grief is as individual as a fingerprint. Do what is right for your soul." - Anonymous
You deal with grief in your life when losing anything or anyone. As part of wellness, you may or may not grieve your dependency and you need to allow yourself to proceed through the stages. The stages identified in the grieving process are: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. It doesn't mean you are going to go through these in order but these are the stages you will experience and ultimately you will come to accept the loss in your life and return to a stable path. Give yourself time to grieve and remember these stages when you experience loss in your life. Anytime change occurs and something is missing from your life, you tend to go through the grieving process. Be patient and kind to yourself as you grieve.
