The permanent collection of the Museum of Sonoma County relies on donations of objects, documents, and art from members of the public, just like you.
If you are intersted in donating an item to the Musuem of Sonoma County, please complete the form below and submit it for review by our Collections Team.
Please note: The Museum of Sonoma County has very limited storage space and resources to care for its permanent collection, therefore we are unable to accept all of the objects, archives, and works of art that are offered to us. All items submitted to us will be evaluated by the Museum’s Collections Committee and decisions to accept items are based on their significance, whether there are similar items already in the collection, condition of the items, and a number of other factors. This review process may take some time before our Collections Committee comes to a final decision regarding the proposed donation.
