  • Scholarship Opportunities

    Application Deadline - May 15, 2021 11:59pm CST
  • *NEW* The Farmer Lee Jones Scholarship - $10,000 

    • Awarded to agriculture students attending any accredited college/university in the U.S.

    Homaro Cantu Scholarship - $10,000

    • Awarded to culinary arts/hospitality management students attending any accredited college/university in the U.S.

    Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship - up to $10,000

    • Awarded to incoming non traditional students or current culinary arts/hospitality college students who demonstrate financial need and enrolled in an accredited college/university in the U.S.

     ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have 2.5 or higher G.P.A. (unweighted)
    • Must be a high school senior, incoming, or current college student to qualify for scholarships.
    • Culinary Arts, Baking/Pastry, Hospitality Management or Agriculture student
    • Complete online application
    • Must attend college/university in the U.S.
    • Must submit the following documents:
      • Resume highlighting community service, jobs/internships.
      • Transcript displaying cumulative G.P.A. weighted/unweighted.
      • Letter of recommendation from someone who can discuss candidate's academic achievements and/or character. 
      • Video expressing how you pursue excellence, your interest in culinary arts/hospitality/baking & pastry/agriculture and long-term goals. This is your opportunity to express individuality/creativity, passion, commitment, and any other positive qualities. Videos should not exceed three minutes. *If you experience any difficulties uploading your video, please send video to Program Manager, LaKiesha P.       • COLLEGE STUDENTS ONLY - Must submit documentation from college/university demonstrating a remaining balance/financial need.
      • Everything must be submitted no later than 11:59pm CST Saturday, May 15th, 2021
  • Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. 

  • If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

However, providing this information may increase your opportunities for scholarships where donors have asked that priority consideration be given to students meeting certain demographic criteria (such as minority status, parent's place of employment, area of study, etc.)
