KCSC is working hard to find ways for our clients and volunteers to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. It is so difficult to understand why there is such a fragmented and patchwork approach to both testing and vaccines. It is a national problem and there appear to be no easy answers.

We are advocating especially for our homebound older adults, and for ways to reach those with low access to health systems.

Navigating constantly changing and confusing information from multiple sources about the availability of the vaccines, the Phase and Tier for which you might qualify, locations for vaccine clinics, etc., is in itself a full time job. We are doing our best to find and pass on the most relevant information about vaccine availability to older adults in Kansas City.

If you would like to receive information about the availability of COVID-19 vaccines, please complete the information below. We will then be able to reach out quickly to all those who are interested, and will alert you just as soon as we learn of vaccines available in the Kansas City area.

Based on availability, and guidance from the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services (MO DHSS) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the COVID-19 vaccine will be distributed based on a pre-determined tier system.
