Application For Apprenticeship

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY FOR AN APPLICANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A HEAT AND FROST INSULATORS LOCAL 25 APPRENTICESHIP

1. Must be at least 18 years of age by June 1st, 2021, and have a valid driver's license. 
   
   
2. Complete the application. Be sure that you sign the application and you must upload any required supporting documents, including documents that support previous employment or extracurricular activities.
   • If you are a current High School senior, you must provide your Diploma or GED certificate (proof of completion) by June 1st, 2021. 
     
     
3. Successfully complete an aptitude test when scheduled. 
   
   
4. Appear for an interview when notified. 
   
   
5. Have a residence and live in the Territorial Jurisdiction of Heat and Frost Insulators Local 25 as follows:
   1. In the counties of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, St. Clair, and neighboring counties as well as the Townships of Ann Arbor, August, Lodi, Northfield, Pittsfield, Salem, Saline, Scio, Superior, Webster, Ypsilanti, York in Washtenaw County.
      
      
6. Before employment, all applicants accepted for probationary apprenticeship will be required to pass a physical examination and pre-employment drug test as prescribed by the local JATC.
