    Thank you for you interest in our Farmers' Market! Please complete the form below to apply as a vendor. Your application will be reviewed by the Market Volunteer Committee, and your acceptance or rejection will be notified by email.
  • Please note: There is a full artisan waiting list,

    We give preference to vendors that are Chatham-Kent local and grow or make their own product.

    We do not accept re-sellers, brand reps, or fundraisers.

  • Event Details

    Host: Farmers' Market Volunteer Committee & The Downtown Wallaceburg BIA

    Location: Municipal Parking Lot D/ 708 James Street, Downtown Wallaceburg

    Every other Saturday: 

    June 5 & 19 

    July 3, 17 & 31

    August 14 & 28

    September 11 & 25

    October 9 

    Time: 8 am - 12 pm

    Set-up: 7 - 7:40 am

    Vendor Fee: $25 per 10 x 10 spot per market*

    Tent/ Canopy Required

    Tent rental: $20.00* per marekt, as quantities last

    Approval criteria includes:

    1. Submitting the relevant food certificates and public health approval* (all non artisan vendors)

    2. Vendor commitment to our Covid-19 policies

    3. A complete application

    4. Photos of your products submitted (minimum 3)

    5. Preference will be given to farmers and  local vendors with hand made items. Each market must meet the requirement of 60% farm vendors to be considered a genuine farmers' market. This may limit the amount of artisains accepted for certain dates.

    *An invoice will be emailed once vendor is approved

    Due to the current pandemic our plans may change suddenly. If the market is to be cancelled by the Provinve or Municipality all vendor fees will be refunded.

  • BOOTH MANAGEMENT

    Due to Covid-19 vendors who are handling cash are recommended to have a minimum of two (2) people at their booth. One (1) to handle produce/product, and one (1) to handle cash/payments. One vendor can be independent at the booth if they can ensure that they are not touching product once the market begins and ensures customers only touch what they intend to buy.
  •  PLEASE NOTE:

    The Market reserves the right to re-categorize your request based on your application. Approval may be granted to all or a portion of the goods applied for in order to offer the optimum product line at the Market.

  • PAYMENT(S)

    *DO NOT remit payment with application. An invoice will be issued when the application is approved by the Market Committee
  •  Payment Schedule:

    Upon approval by the Committee, vendor booth fees & tent rental fees (if applicable) will be due prior to market date or at market. An invoice will be sent via email.

    To reserve your market spot, please drop off the fee to McCarron Plumbing & Heating Ltd at 141 Nelson St, Wallaceburg, ON N8A 4G2 during standard business hours.
