Confidance Terms & Conditions
1. Uniform
The uniform is compulsory and must be worn to class each week, The uniform consists of confidance t shirt and plain black leggings. The confidance jacket is optional. Danto auditions and to and from set/theatre when working. Uniforms can be ordered from the school. Black jazz split sole shoes are to be worn for lyrical. These can be bought in any dance shop or online.
2. Contact
Parents will be notified of important information, fees due, outings, class recitals and exams, term dates and holiday courses via email. These will be sent to the parent's email address. It is the parents responsibility to read these notifications and keep abreast of important dates and deadlines. Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you feel you may have missed some of the information. Email is our primary means of communicating with you and all current students must have a valid email address of a parent or guardian on file. By registering you are agreeing to receive communication via email and telephone.
3. Fees
All fees will be paid via direct debit on the 1st of every month. Fees are paid in full at the start of each month. This will all be done through go cardless where you have to register your details on our website. Failure to meet payments, can result in your child losing their place in their classes. You will be notified via email for all transactions.
4. Medical /Needs
In order to help us provide the best attention for your child please ensure that you let us know of any medical or special needs your child might have. There is a space provided on the booking form for this.
5.Consent for photographs/video use
In the course of the activities provided by Confidance photographs and video may be taken and in the case of class performances by other parents, which may include footage of your child. These may be used on our website and social media or in our brochures from time to time. Please ensure you let the school know in writing if you do not consent to the use of images as described above.
6. Anti Bullying
Under no circumstances does Confidance Performing Arts tolerate bullying in any form. Bullying is repeated aggression conducted by an individual or a group against others - such aggressive behaviour may be verbal, cyber, psychological or physical.
Types of Behaviour that are not tolerated:
● Physical aggression
● Damage to property
● Intimidation
● Gestures
● Abusive telephone/mobile phone calls
● Abusive text messages
● Abusive email/Facebook/Social media messaging
● The production, display or circulation of written words, pictures or other materials aimed at intimidating another person
● Isolation & exclusion
● Harassment based on any of the nine grounds in the equality legislation e.g. sexual harassment, homophobic bullying, racist bullying etc
● Name calling
● Slagging
7. Code of Conduct
All students are expected to act in a polite and courteous manner with the older students setting a good example for the younger ones. The positive atmosphere in our classes is best served by punctual, enthusiastic students and can be seriously undermined by disruptive and unreliable members. Students acting in an inappropriate manner or whose conduct could cause hurt or injury to others may not be admitted to class.
