OUR POLICY - IMPORTANT!

Please notify your veterinarian to give permission for a Ralphy's Retreat member to speak with them about your pets, past and present.
Once references are checked and your application is approved, we will contact you to conduct a site visit.
All pigs are adopted with an Adoption Contract or fostered with a Foster Agreement.
Zoning and by-laws are thoroughly checked and no pig shall be adopted/fostered to a home that is not zoned for pet pigs.
Although Ralphy's Retreat attempts to give an honest evaluation of the temperament of the pig you are interested in adopting/fostering, you may may encounter some behavioural problems during the transition to your home.
The adopter/foster family must agree to periodic follow up visits or calls from Ralphy's Retreat. The follow ups are purely to assure the pig's well-being. Proactive updates and photos are greatly appreciated!
All adopted/fostered pigs must be returned to Ralphy's Retreat if the adoption is not a success or if circumstances change.

I understand that applying does not ensure approval and that untruthful answers or failure to comply with the requirements of this application can result in the forfeiture of any Ralphy's Retreat Animal Sanctuary animal adopted by me.

I certify that the above information is correct, and I understand that the information will be verified.

I understand that by submitting this form electronically, I agree to release and covenant to hold harmless Ralphy's Retreat Animal Sanctuary and it's members from any claims, damages, costs, or actions incurred because of the care or actions of the adopted/fostered pig.

I accept full responsibility for the pig(s) actions at all times, and release Ralphy's Retreat Animal Sanctuary from any liabilities or damages that may be incurred because of fostering/adopting such pig(s).

I agree to have Ralphy's Retreat Animal Sanctuary complete reference call checks and conduct a home visit inspection to be able to approve my foster/adoption application. I will notify my references of the call and allow them to release information to Ralphy's Retreat Animal Sanctuary.

I agree that if I'm unable to adopt/foster the pig(s) anymore that I will return the pig(s) to Ralphy's Retreat Animal Sanctuary and try to give Ralphy's Retreat Animal Sanctuary a 2 week period to try and find another suitable foster/adoptive home for the pig(s).
