Experienced User Assessment (EUA) Application Logo
  • Experienced User Assessment (EUA) Application

  • Generator requires members to be certified by a Generator instructor to use our equipment. Typically members get certified via Generator's tool trainings. EUAs allow Generator members with extensive experience to bypass our tool trainings and instead participate in one-on-one in-person assessments with one of Generator's instructors.

Instructors test members' skills and knowledge on a piece or set of equipment and provide additional Generator-specific safety policies and protocols. All EUAs are priced at the same rate as the discounted member price for the general training of the respective shop or tool, pass or fail. If you don't know how to use ALL the tools in a given shop or studio you are not eligible for an EUA. If you do not know how to use all the tools a private lesson may be a better option. An EUA is not a private lesson.

Unsure if you should take an EUA? If there's any doubt in your mind you could pass, we strongly recommend taking the full training. If you have more questions or would like to discuss it further, email education@generatorvt.com or call 802-540-0761.

  • After receiving this form, Generator staff will do an initial screening of your qualifications and reach out to you. If an EUA looks like it will be a good route, we'll reach out to appropriate instructors to see who is available. The process may take up to 3 weeks. Thank you for your patience!
