- Community Outreach Coordinator:
Handling public relations, such as developing strategic relationships, attending trade-shows, and conducting informational presentations at universities, clubs, and civic groups.
Collecting and analyzing data on local demographics, developing results, and presenting the conclusions to the relevant departments.
Advertising for, screening, and recruiting volunteers, providing them with training and support, tracking their performance, and keeping records of their activities.
Creating group building activities to supplement and support volunteer/board needs.
-Position requirements:
Prior volunteer leadership experience.
- Financial Coordinator
Prepare analytical reports on donor giving and fundraising events.
Develop and implement daily, monthly, and quarterly cash forecasting models.
Develops grant proposals by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation.
Maintain sponsorship relationships to assist in maximizing fundraising efforts.
Work with the President to ensure all required annual government and IRS reporting including 990, W-2’s, and the Department of Agriculture Charitable Solicitations report are accurate and filed on time.
-Position requirements:
Significant experience with nonprofit accounting, including fund and grant accounting,compliance and reporting.
Prior sponsor package development experience
Prior grant writing experience
- Marketing Coordinator
Create and maintain relevant, original, high quality marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
Design and create ads to help support departmental marketing needs, and launch email marketing fundraising campaigns.
Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development, and brand management.
Maintain exceptional website design and operation.
-Position Requirements:
Graphic design experience
Website design experience (Wix or Weebly)
- Social Media Coordinator
Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising.
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
Grows and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.

Maintain business page for 1 year.
Positive social media presence.
- Treasurer
Develop and implement daily, monthly, and quarterly cash forecasting models.
Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements
Evaluate the financial aspects of the business policies and prepare monthly financial reports for the board.
Maintain accounting records through Quickbooks, proper vendor files and receipts.
Manage all cash management donations and all financial and gift-in-kind donations and follow with proper receipting.
-Position requirements:
Extensive experience with Excel and Quickbooks required.
Account maintenance/bookkeeping experience
- Veteran Support Specialist
Be a liasion between military families and VOWS Foundation.
Help coordinate military events that supports the vision of VOWS.
Assist veterans or recently deployed soldiers in finding programs to help transition back to civilian life or back home to their duty station.
Help dependants find support groups that will assist to handle deployment in a positive less stressful manner.
-Position requirements:
Be a veteran or dependant with prior volunteering experience.
Knowledge of yellow ribbon events.
