Sarah E. Viksjo, Vice President, M&T Insurance Agency
Sarah Viksjo is a Vice President of M&T Insurance Agency and Practice Lead of the Agency’s Captive Practice. She is responsible for selling and servicing captive insurance programs throughout the M&T Bank footprint and beyond. Sarah started her insurance career in 2006 in Chicago, IL with Benfield, a London based reinsurance
brokerage, specializing in workers compensation and actuarial loss modeling. Prior to her role at M&T, Sarah spent ten years concentrating on captive programs with USI Insurance Services, working mainly with contracting, manufacturing and transportation risks. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Economics from Canisius College where she was a member of the swimming and diving team and held two school records. She currently serves on the board of directors at the International Institute of Buffalo and Western New York Safety Conference. Sarah resides in Williamsville, NY with her children Vivienne, Bianca and Jack.
