As Americans, we have faced unimaginable events in this past year that have left us reeling and divided along political, race and class lines. The pandemic has claimed the lives of over 400,000 of us. It exposed the impact of systemic racism in health care, education, employment, and wealth contributing to food insecurities while pushing many into food lines and homelessness. This book club is born out of the overwhelming responses from Dr. Cameron Wedding’s Implicit Bias Micro Learning when many people asked for more in-depth conversations about systemic racism. This book club is based on the belief that we are all in this together, and that we must be united in working to achieve America's greatness.
