Game Rules
Diamond Peak Ski Education Foundation (DPSEF) will create a 10x10 Grid ("the Grid") with 100 eligible squares for the 2022 Super Bowl game, February 13, 2022.
Each square will be sold for $100 each on a first-come basis online. There is no limit for purchasing squares.
The Grid will contain the AFC Champ (Bengals) along the vertical column and NFC Champ (Rams) along the top row.
Upon receiving payment for squares, DPSEF will randomly fill the squares with the participants' names until the board is full. All squares will have equal opportunity to win.
After the board is filled in with participants or by Noon (PST) on February 13, 2022, the game and the Grid will be closed for participation.
Then a random number generator will be used to assign numbers 0 - 9 for NFC and AFC Champions. Now each square represents a specific score in the game. If DPSEF doesn't receive payment for all 100 squares, the blank squares will be left blank.
The final Game Grid will be sent to all entrants and posted to DPSEF.org to the participants prior to the start of the game. (example above)
A winner will be determined at the end of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd quarters and then at the final score.
The winner is determined by looking at the number in each team’s score and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers. An example: if the end of the 3rd quarter is AFC 23 and NFC 14, then the last number for the AFC is "3" and the last number of the NFC is "4", the square on the grid that has AFC with number 3 and NFC number with 4 would be the winner.
If some of the squares do not get filled and a blank square is a winner, then those winnings will get transferred to the next eligible opportunity. For example, 1st quarter winner goes to a blank square, then those winnings will go to the 2nd quarter, now worth $400, and so on.
If the final score lands on a square that is blank, those winnings will go to the Diamond Peak Ski Education Foundation.
Winnings will be mailed by check to the winner within 15 days after the game.
