NOFM is a smoke free market. No smoking is permitted at all in or near the Market area and not in any individual stall.

COVID STATEMENT
Please note the North Oshawa Farmers’ Market Board of Directors takes the COVID-19 Pandemic situation extremely seriously and will be adhering to the rules set out by the Durham Region Health Department.

Portions of the NOFM handbook and Application may not apply due to COVID-19 Pandemic rules.  Thank you for working with us to insure a fun and successful market season.

Please Note: Market Rules and Regulations require all vendors to produce a minimum of 70% of products for sale and all other items for sale MUST be Canadian Grown/produced.

Note: All Prepared Food Vendors are required to complete a “Farmers’ Market Notification for Food Vendors” form from the Durham Region Health Department. Upon approval by the Health Department a copy of the approval form is required to be attached to your vendor application.

1. Vendor Insurance: It is the responsibility of each vendor to ensure adequate liability insurance coverage for their participation in the Farmers’ Market for the duration of their membership and to provide proof of their own liability insurance with their Application form. A copy of local Health Department permits, if applicable, must also accompany the Application form. NOFM bears no responsibility for any vendor property at the Market.

2. IMPORTANT: Vendors shall advise the Market Manager and/or Board Member on site or by telephone/email if they will not be attending the market on a certain day in advance in order that spaces between vendors can be apportioned accordingly.

3. IMPORTANT: ALL VENDORS must be on site by 8:30 a.m. after which NO VEHICLES are permitted in the shopping/vending area.

I have read and are fully aware of the current Farmers’ Market Rules & Regulations as outlined in the NOFM 2024 Vendor Handbook. I hereby agree to comply with and abide by these market rules and regulations. I understand that failing to comply with these automatically forfeits my rights to sell any product at the North Oshawa Farmers’ Market. I acknowledge that the North Oshawa Farmers’ Market and City of Oshawa shall not be held responsible for any damages or theft associated with the rental of the stall space.
