  • UCI

This number appears on your exam certificates and statements of entry. If you cannot find it, contact your previous centre or call our exams officer.
  • UCI

Ask your school to create a UCI for you. You will need to use the same UCI number for all of your GCSE and A level exams.
  • ULN

This number also appears on your exam certificates and statements of entry. If you cannot find it, contact your previous centre or call our exams officer. You are unlikely to have a ULN if you were educated at a private school.

  • GCSE English Language - Speaking Endorsement Waiver

I confirm that Top Grades gave me the opportunity to complete the spoken endorsement and I understand that:

    • Entries for GCSE English Language automatically include the endorsement.
    • It will not contribute to my GCSE grade. The endorsement is reported separately on certificates with either a Pass, Merit, Distinction or Not Classified. Those who do not reach the Pass standard are recorded as ‘Not Classified’.
    • If I do not complete the speaking assessment, the grade for the endorsement will be displayed as NC (Not Classified) on my certificate.
    • If I wish to gain the endorsement in the future, I will need to resit the written papers.

A level Science - Practical Endorsement Waiver

I confirm that Top Grades allows me to complete the practical endorsement with one of their partner centres and I understand that:

    • If I wish to gain the endorsement in the future, I will need to resit the written papers.
    • If I do not complete the practical activities, the grade for the skills endorsement will be displayed as NC (Not Classified) on my certificate.
    • Failure to pass the endorsement could affect my entry to university. It is essential that I speak with them in good time to find out what they require.
    • There are areas tested on the written papers that relate to the practical endorsement activities. I may be disadvantaged if I have not undertaken the practical activities.
