Supportive of the church through verbal expression, financial giving, and service
-
Consistent worship presence
-
Vision for the future of the church and commitment to its mission
-
Active church membership
Elders are called to demonstrate Christ-centered spiritual leadership, to help lead in forward-looking vision and mission fulfillment, and serve with the pastors on the Session. Session oversees program areas and governs the church. Elected elders must be willing and able to lead a ministry group or committee, and to participate in Session meetings.
Deacons carry out an established ministry of compassion, witness and service to members and friends of the congregation, including visitation, communion preparation, bereavement support, and hospitality.
The Committee will prayerfully consider your recommendations as it discerns the needful mix of gifts and candidates for the coming year. Thank you for your participation.
Please keep this panel and display it in a prominent place as a reminder to pray.
